Welcome Mialy
Mialy joined the Accounted4 team in 2025. She completed her Master of Professional Accounting at the University of Waikato in 2024, and in 2005 graduated with a Master of Science in Economics and Management from HEC Lausanne.
Mialy grew up in Madagascar, studied in Switzerland, and first moved to New Zealand in 2006 to work at Fonterra. She is a qualified Pilates instructor and before returning to study Mialy ran her own Pilates studio and business for around 10 years.
Outside of work, Mialy loves spending time with her husband and 3 kids, cheering them on from the sports sidelines, or getting out for a surf in Raglan.
MHAW at Accounted4
In October, we celebrated Mental Health Awareness Week at Accounted4 with a mix of creativity, connection, and a healthy dose of fun.
We kicked things off with a Healthy Morning Tea and a quiz to get everyone chatting, then launched our Gratitude Wall, which quickly filled with colourful notes, doodles, and little reminders of what we’re thankful for.
Throughout the week, the team got involved in activities like Kindness Bingo, Bring a Random Item to Work Day, and our first-ever A4 Office Dribbling Tournament (which may have revealed some unexpected competitive streaks!). We also shared a Wellbeing Potluck Lunch, with dishes that came with stories, from family favourites to nostalgic comfort food.
We wrapped up the week with a special Teams Quiz and reflection of the positivity and energy that filled the office all week.
It was a fun reminder that looking after our mental health doesn’t have to be complicated, sometimes it’s just about connecting, laughing, and appreciating the small things together.
Loud Shirt Day
The A4 team rocked bright, bold shirts for Loud Shirt Day, raising donations to support Cochlear Implants for children in NZ. Our colourful morning tea of sweet treats made it a fun and feel-good way to give back to a great cause.
