Supporting and Celebrating Cambridge This July

At Accounted4, we're proud to be part of a business community that is passionate, connected, and committed to making Cambridge an even better place to live and work. July has been filled with opportunities to celebrate local success, strengthen relationships, and support causes that make a real difference.

Celebrating the Launch of Love Cambridge 2026

This month saw the official launch of the 2026 edition of Love Cambridge, a publication that beautifully showcases the people, businesses, places, and stories that make our town so special.

The launch event, which Geoff and Chris attended, was held at The Clements 1866 bar, and brought together Chamber Board members, partners, and the talented teams behind the publication. It was a fantastic opportunity to celebrate the many businesses and individuals who contribute to making Cambridge such a vibrant and thriving community.

Publications like Love Cambridge play an important role in highlighting the unique character of our district and supporting local businesses, and we encourage everyone to keep an eye out for a copy.

Connecting at the Mid Winter Long Lunch

One of the highlights of the month was attending the 2026 Mid Winter Long Lunch at the Cambridge Town Hall and Martyn and Larissa went along as our representatives.

With more than 100 Chamber members and guests in attendance, the event was a wonderful reminder of the strength of our local business community. Great conversations, genuine connections, plenty of laughter, and the chance to step away from the day-to-day made for a memorable afternoon.

Events such as these are invaluable for building relationships, sharing ideas, and supporting one another as local business owners.

An added bonus was seeing nearly $8,000 raised through the auction and raffle for Kids in Need Waikato, demonstrating once again the generosity and community spirit that exists within Cambridge.

Supporting the Annual PJ Drive

Giving back is something our community does exceptionally well, and it has been fantastic to see the support for this year's Annual PJ Drive.

The initiative collects brand-new pyjamas for children and young people supported by Kids in Need Waikato, helping ensure local families stay warm over winter. Every donation, no matter how small, makes a difference, and it's inspiring to see businesses and individuals continuing to rally behind such an important cause.

We are proud to support this initiative and be part of a community that consistently steps up to support those who need it most once again.

At Accounted4, we believe strong communities create strong businesses, and we're grateful to be part of such a supportive and connected network here in Cambridge.
