Recently five of our A4 team attended XERO's conference 'XEROCON' in Melbourne for XERO cloud accounting partners in Australia, New Zealand and Asia. This at times 'show stopping' conference was held at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, which was plenty big enough to accommodate the 3068 attendees.
Over two days our team were treated to enlightening speakers, demonstrations and exhibitors on topics such as; 'What's new in XERO', 'Millennials — how to engage them', 'Security Rules', 'How to improve efficiencies', 'How machine learning and Artificial Intelligence will change industries forever', to name just a few.
Rod Drury, CEO of XERO, opened on Day One with an inspirational keynote on how "employment will be created through small business and small businesses need to get global". The audience was also entertained at the start of Day Two by Keynote speaker 'Magda Szubanski' - writer, actor, comedian (you may know her as 'Sharon' from TV programme Kath & Kim).
All in all it was a jam packed, mind boggling, dazzling conference with many 'takeaways' brought back and shared with the rest of the team.
