David joined Accounted4 in April 2011 as a Senior Accounting Manager after working for international accountancy firm Deloitte for 4 years. Whilst at Deloitte he specialised in small to medium sized business accounting and advisory and brought with him an extensive knowledge of accounting software packages and systems. 

He has a Bachelor of Management Studies with honours from the University of Waikato, a Post Graduate Diploma in Accounting from the Waikato Institute of Technology and completed his CA qualification in 2010. 

David was promoted to an Associate of the firm in April 2013. He became a Director  on 1st April 2014.

In early 2011, David and his partner Carla had their first child, Georgia Rose, thus some of his many sporting interests including rugby, indoor netball, touch rugby, business house cricket, mountain biking and skiing have had to be reigned in.
