Grant joined the firm in October 1984 and became a Director in 1990. He studied business at Massey University in Palmerston North graduating with a Bachelor of Business Studies in 1986. He completed his Chartered Accountancy qualification in 1987. 

Grant specialises in farm accounting, trust and succession issues and small to medium sized businesses. Grant and Maureen have two children, Ben and Kasey. His other interests include travelling, fishing, playing tennis and spending time at the beach.

Grant retired as a Director of the company on 1 April 2021 and will continue to look after clients as a consultant for the next 3 to 4 years before fully retiring.
