Kim became a Director at Accounted4 Limited in April 2021 - the first woman to be appointed to the role.

Kim joined the firm in February 2005 after working for international accountancy firm Ernst & Young for several years as a taxation specialist for entrepreneurial businesses.

Kim grew up on a dairy farm in Northland and enjoys working with a variety of different clients from dairy farmers through to investment trusts and commercial businesses. She has a Bachelor of Management Studies (with first class honours) from the University of Waikato and has been a Chartered Accountant since 2004. 

Kim is married to Brad Ward and together they have a son named Zac.  Kim enjoys pottering around on her lifestyle block and spending time with family.
